Three organizations in Cornwall are launching a new fundraiser that promises a community impact in spades. ACFO SDG, the Centre Charles-Émile-Claude (CCÉC) and the Club Richelieu of Cornwall have joined forces to bring Catch the Ace – Cornwall Catch the Ace – Cornwall, a weekly fundraising game that supports the young and the young at heart.

Each $10 ticket gives participants a chance to win the weekly prize and hopefully the jackpot. Proceeds will be shared equally among the three partner organizations: ACFO SDG will support their youth projects, the CCÉC will fund an activity for seniors living with a neurocognitive disorder and the Club Richelieu will contribute to pediatric services at the Cornwall Community Hospital. “Each ticket purchased directly benefits members of our community,” says Céline Baillargeon-Tardif, Executive Director of the CCÉC and the driving force behind this collective initiative.

The first draw will be held live on the Centre Charles-Émile-Claude’s Facebook page at 5 p.m. December 31. Weekly draws will continue at 5 p.m. every Wednesday until the Ace of Spades is revealed.

Tickets are available at the following locations: Canadian Tire, Salon Phase II, Caisse Desjardins, Farm Boy and the Centre Charles-Émile-Claude. Participants are encouraged to play responsibly.

For more information, visit the Centre Charles-Émile-Claude (CCÉC) Facebook page at Centre Charles-Émile-Claude (CCÉC).

As a service club, the Club Richelieu invests in our youth. Needless to say, this investment requires funds that it receives from individuals, companies and organizations.
